10 Golden Rules of Chess

  1. Move centre pawn first.
  2. Move a Knight before a Bishop.
  3. Do not move the same piece twice…in the beginning or unless you have to.
  4. Defend the King with a castle wall; Castle on Queenside or Kingside of the chess board.
  5. F pawn; do not move in the beginning.  Defend it.
  6. Queen; do not move your Queen out too early.  If your opponent does, attack.
  7. Develop your pieces.
  8. Choose the best move.
  9. Attack the piece that bothers you the most.
  10. Aim at; the King, the Queen, the Castle Wall
